As a proud member of the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative and the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), we have made a formal commitment to actively promote sustainability in capital markets. Steps taken with issuers and investors in supporting the financial community are fully aligned with Abu Dhabi and the UAE led initiatives such as the Abu Dhabi Vision and the UAE Green Agenda 2015-2030.
Transparency and Disclosure
We encourage comprehensive reporting by our issuers. ESG related disclosures empower investors with critical insights into a company's sustainability performance, allowing for informed investment decisions. Our listed companies follow mandatory sustainability reporting for which we provide guidance with 31 ESG indicators that are considered essential to report, in alignment with the recommendations of the Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative and the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).
Toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
ADX is committed to advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as such our reporting indicators for our listed companies are mapped against Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) indicators and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to support companies in adopting more detailed sustainability reporting disclosure.
