XBRL is an available and global framework for exchanging business information. Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) implements the latest International Financial Reporting Standards – IFRS 2019 - for listed companies through the Extensible Business Reporting Language - XBRL.

ADX XBRL Services Objectives

• Create a unified E-Filing platform to collect machine-readable listed companies’ financial disclosure
• Perform business level validations to ensure accuracy and improve transparency
• Adopt international standards and best practices
• Retain market leadership
• Providing and applying this language will help all users of financial reports to quickly understand and analyse these reports, and act based on more accurate and timely information 

How to Apply

1. Create an account (superuser) by submitting a copy of the National ID and authorization letter from the listed company through the following link: 
   https://www.xbrl-uae.ae/EnglishCommon/User.aspx 
2. Download the latest XBRL template from the ADX XBRL Portal at www.xbrl-uae.ae. 
3. Complete the required financial data using the appropriate template.
4. The authorized user should review and approve the disclosed financial statement.
5. The authorized auditor should review and approve the disclosed financial statement.
6. The listed company's super user must provide final approval after its auditors review the financial data and published on the ADX electronic portal.
